Sunday School

Classes are conducted for junior highs (grades 7-8) and senior highs (grades 9-12) from 9:45 to 11:00 a.m. In class the youth study the Bible and discuss how the Bible stories and their faith help them deal with situations in their own lives.

Confirmation

Open to all 9th through 12th graders who are interested in being confirmed at Burke Presbyterian Church. From September through May, the youth study and learn more about Jesus Christ, their faith, and becoming adult members in the Presbyterian Church. The fall term includes a mentorship and Bible study with an adult member of the church, and the spring term, beginning in January, includes a retreat and a weekday evening class.

Deacon

Two senior high youth serve on the Board of Deacons (one-year term) and are responsible for providing care to the youth of our congregation.
