National and International Mission

BPC supports many national and international Mission programs through contributions of our time or financial assistance.

Katrina 2008Adult and Youth Work Camps/Disaster Assistance: We engage in projects across the country and throughout the world to aid those who are victims of disasters.

Bread for the World: We support this nationwide Christian movement that seeks justice for the world's hungry by lobbying U.S. decision-makers.

Burke/Kibwezi Tumaini Orphan Care Program: We provide financial assistance, guidance and prayer for this outreach program in Kibwezi, which assists orphaned children where they are now living and provides "rescue" support if existing living conditions are inadequate or unsafe.

Central Asian Development Agency (a Christian non-governmental organization): We provide financial and prayer support for a pre-school and summer youth program in Tajikistan.

Malawi Anti-Retroviral Drug Program (MARVLD): We support a program established to provide HIV anti-retroviral drugs to AIDS/HIV positive patients of Embangweni Hospital in Malawi. We also help fund a medical missionary who works closely with this program.

Kibwezi Partnership - A long-term, ongoing relationship with our sister Presbyterian church in Kibwezi, Kenya. We are helping to support a mission area with multiple congregations, a vocational training center, a primary school, several preschools, and an orphan rescue home. We provide salary support, student scholarships, support for food and educational materials, and construction materials for new classrooms. Every three years, we have taken a work camp group to experience first hand worship and working together with the Kenyans.
