National and International Mission

BPC supports many national and international Mission programs through contributions of our time or financial assistance.

Adult and Youth Work Camps/Disaster Assistance: We engage in projects across the country to aid those who are homeless or victims of natural disasters.

Bread for the World: A nationwide Christian movement that seeks justice for the World’s hungry by lobbying U.S. decision-makers.

BPC/Kibwezi Tumaini Orphan Care Program: An outreach program to assist orphaned children where they are now living or to provide “rescue” support if existing living conditions are inadequate or unsafe.

BPC/Kibwezi Partnership - A long-term relationship with our sister Presbyterian Church in Kibwezi, Kenya helping to support a mission area with fifteen congregations, a vocational training center, primary school and several preschools. BPC sponsors a work camp group every three years to experience worship and work with the Kenyans.

Church World Service (CWS): Funds, hygiene and baby kits are provided after disasters through out the world.

Malawi Anti-Retroviral Drug Program (MARVLD): A program established to provide HIV  anti-retroviral drugs to AIDS/HIV positive patients of Embangweni Hospital in Malawi.

Equal Exchange/Presbyterian Coffee Project: Fair trade sales of coffee/tea/chocolate support farmers overseas.
