Burke Presbyterian Church holds a “Discipleship and Ministry” class for those inquiring about our church or seeking to be members.
This New Member Forum is a 5-week session typically held in the fall, winter, and spring, meeting during the Education hour on Sunday mornings from 9:50-11:00 a.m. This is an opportunity for you to learn about the ministry and mission of our church, about The Presbyterian Church (USA), the denomination to which we are affiliated, and about how you can become involved in discipleship. It is also an opportunity to build relationships with the leadership of the church and others interested in our church ministry.
Those wanting to join the church will meet with the Session (our governing body of fifteen elders) after worship on a Sunday morning and will be provided a lunch by the Deacons.
