On the weekend of Pentecost, May 26 & 27, there will be a special Pentecost offering, devoted entirely to programs for children, youth, and young adults. From this offering, 60% goes to the General Assembly, to fund such programs as the Presbyterian Youth Connection, the Urban Youth Ministry, and Campus Ministries. The remaining 40% is donated to local programs for children at risk as we direct, such as summer programs for children without homes sponsored by FACETS or bullying prevention programs sponsored by Fairfax County Partnership for Youth.
