This year brings a new chapter to Burke Presbyterian Church: the launch of our first capital campaign for new construction in 30 years. That’s how long it has been since our piney corner of Oak Leather Drive has been substantially updated or renovated.
This $2.5 million project will build a new gathering space and new accessible bathrooms, double the size of our church kitchen, and renovate the downstairs to become suitable for our robust children’s ministry.
You can submit a letter of intent to pledge to this campaign by filling out this online form (see below).
We are asking that our members prayerfully consider two to three times their annual pledge over three years. If all members used this formula, we would be absolutely successful. Research shows, however, that the “law of averages” doesn’t work, as some families can give less and some can give more. We are asking you to make a meaningful gift for your unique family.
If you do not currently pledge to the annual campaign, we are asking you consider $3,000 — $1,000 per year over 3 years.
