Worship, Oct. 1

9 & 11:15 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Today is World Communion Sunday. This is a day in the life of the church when Christians around the world celebrate the sacrament of communion on the same day. It was conceived in the 20th century, after the divisions of the World Wars. It is a day to recognize and celebrate that our unity in Christ
transcends all the other ways we manage to divide ourselves from one another.

In worship today, we are highlighting those in our community who come from nations abroad and yet still call this country their home, and this faith community home as well.
