Arlene Decina

Our Director of Spiritual Growth Ministries, Arlene Decina, joined BPC in 1995 along with her husband and two young children. After teaching high school science in Fairfax County Public Schools for 10 years, she made the decision to be a stay-at-home mom and became more and more involved in the life of the church. She served primarily in children’s ministry, and eventually as elder for Children’s Spiritual Growth, before joining the staff in 2002 overseeing Spiritual Growth Ministries for children and adults. In 2003, she gathered a team to begin a Godly Play program at BPC, and in 2013 became a U.S. trainer through the Godly Play Foundation. Arlene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from Ohio University and a teaching certification in mathematics and science from George Mason University.
Julianne Erbrecht
Director of Music Ministry

Julianne Erbrecht, Director of Music Ministries, came to BPC in August 2003 and is responsible for our entire music program. Previously, she served as Assistant Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Music (voice) from Grove City College, and a Master’s Degree in Sacred Music (choral conducting) from Emory University. She directs Chancel Choir, IMPACT Youth Choir and Rainbow Promise and Rainbow Connection Children’s Choirs. Julianne and her husband, Adam, have three children.
Elizabeth Reece

Elizabeth Reece was first introduced to BPC when her new husband, Jerry, suggested they try the church where he was confirmed at age 16. Since then, she has embraced the church, singing in choirs and volunteering for children’s ministry programs. Elizabeth became a member in 2003; she and Jerry now have three children. She worked for First Virginia Banks, Inc., (now BB&T) for 13 years, in roles that involved writing and communicating with people. Elizabeth joined BPC’s staff in February 2021 to provide administrative support. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Virginia. In her free time, Elizabeth likes to read and run on trails in areas with lots of trees.
Holly Walsh

Holly Paige Walsh was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1995. She has previously worked for Price Waterhouse, Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union, Coca Cola Enterprises, and the Federal Aviation Administration. Holly married her husband, and into the active duty Air Force military life, in December 2000. They have three children. Holly loves to travel and spend time with her husband & children, family, and friends. Her interests include child advocacy, photography, reading, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors.
Wei-Han Wu
Accompanist
Described as “brilliant” by the Pittsburgh Tribune, pianist Wei-Han Wu has performed in such venues as the Chicago Cultural Center, the Kennedy Center, and Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall. He has been a featured performer at the Tanglewood, Aspen, Castleton, Lake George, and Walla Walla Chamber Music Festivals. Dedicated to the performance and promotion of new music, Mr. Wu is a member of the [Switch~ Ensemble] and performs regularly with Zach Sheets, flutist as Duo Axis. He previously served as pianist for the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble, Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, and the president of OSSIA New Music. A member of Pi Kappa Lambda, he is the recipient of a Distinguished Achievement Award from the Juilliard School, the Felicia Montealegre Fellowship from the Tanglewood Music Center, and the Collaborative Piano Fellowship from Bard College. Mr. Wu holds degrees from Northwestern, University of Michigan, and the Eastman School of Music. He currently teaches at Shenandoah University and freelances in the DC area.
