August Sermon Series – Once Upon Every Time: The enduring power of Scripture.
The Bible is not a dusty book of old tales. It is a library of living stories that echo through time and still speak today. Join us as we journey through Scripture as one sweeping story: from creation to redemption, from wrestling with God to the stories Jesus told. Whether you are new to church or a lifelong student of Scripture, this series invites you to see your own story within God’s.

August 10 – Origin Stories – Genesis 32:22–31

August 17 – Stories of War, Deliverance, Wisdom, and Resistance –Exodus
God meets us not only in miracles but in messy liberation movements. This week we follow Moses, Miriam, and the people of Israel as they cry out, cross over, rebel, and receive wisdom for the road. The resistance becomes irresistible!
August 24 – Gospel Stories – Matthew 13:31–32
Jesus was the greatest storyteller of all time. He spoke of seeds and soil, yeast and treasure, pearls and prodigals. We’ll feast on parables, these simple tales with world-changing truth, and discover how the kingdom of God is already among us. And then an actual feast! Join us for the church picnic that day. Bring a friend!
August 31 – Neverending Stories – John 14:31b
The Bible may end with Revelation, but God’s story never stops. It’s still being written in ordinary people and unlikely places. This week, Diane brings a message of how the Spirit carries the story onward — even now, even in us. With special guest, Paul Vasile.
