Montreat Youth Conference
For rising 9th grade through graduated 12th grade students High school youth are invited to join us for an exciting week of camp in Montreat, North Carolina, outside Asheville. Come spend time with BPC friends and get to know folks from churches all over the country. Listen to thought-provoking speakers, soak up great music, and have great experiences. Sunday Morning Scriptures
We gather on Sunday mornings to read and discuss the sermon text for morning worship. We typically meet on Zoom, but some Sundays, we also meet in person. Please check the Friday email for details. Worship
During the summer months, we have one Sunday morning worship service at 10:00am, in person and online. After the service, you are welcome to visit the Meditation Room for a time of quiet and prayer, or join us for fellowship and a cup of coffee or lemonade in the Gathering Space. Congregational Meeting
Burke Presbyterian Church will hold a called congregational meeting on Sunday, July 28, 2024. It will start promptly after the service, around 11:15am, in person and online. Pie in July
Pie in July, Monday July 29. Some of the gifted and generous bakers of BPC will be donating their best wares for our Pie in July gathering for seniors. Please join us on Monday, July 29, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm for an afternoon of friendship, music and refreshment. Sugar-free apple pie will be available for those who may prefer that option. Tuesday Morning Bible Study
This study group selects a book of the Bible, and then they read and discuss it a few verses or a chapter at a time. Space for silence is welcome, and there is no deadline to finish. Also, no prerequisites, and no homework! They meet most Tuesday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00am, in the BPC Library and on Zoom. All are welcome! AA Meeting
An Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) group meets at BPC on Thursdays from 8:30 to 9:30 pm. To access the meeting room, enter the building through a single side door, just around the corner from the main entrance. Walk straight through a large room (the main entrance doors will be on your left) to the East Wing classrooms. The group meets in a double room, E4/E5. Youth- Burke Lake Park Nights
We are introducing summer nights at Burke Lake Park for all rising 7th through graduated seniors. Come to Burke Lake park to just hang out and play games! This is a casual get together for whoever can make it! We will meet by the volleyball courts. Park in the lot between pavilions A and B. If you pass the nets, then you have gone too far.
