BPC offers a variety of small groups, each with its own personality and various elements of Bible study, prayer, sharing and fellowship, and mission service. Each group values inclusiveness and a desire to welcome new members. Bible and Bagels
Meets weekly on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in the Library. The B&B group is comprised of multi-generational members who meet weekly for prayer, fellowship, and Bible study using stand-alone lessons.
“Drop-In” Grief Group
Grief affects all of us at some point in our lives. It can help to have support and a safe place to share. This program design is for anyone to attend as many or as few sessions as they would like depending on their needs. Participants have the opportunity to share their grief journey, discuss coping strategies, share questions and concerns, and support one and other. We gather at 7:30 pm on the second and fourth Sundays of every month at the church.
Leaves of Grace Book Study Group
Meets one Sunday afternoon a month at BPC (1:15 pm) to discuss a selected book.
MOB (Men of Burke)
The Men’s group meets on the first Saturday of the month from 7:30 – 9 a.m. at BPC for breakfast, fellowship, a program and mission.
Mothering is a big job. It can be wondrous, exhausting, terrifying, awe-inspiring, frustrating and fulfilling, sometimes all on the same day. It helps to have a village. The BPC Moms’ group meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, from 7-9 pm, in homes. Most of the moms in the group have new babies through elementary school-aged kids, but all are welcome.
Monday Night Women’s Bible Study
This intergenerational small group meets one Monday evening a month in homes. We study scripture, share prayer concerns, and develop/deepen friendships. We are always welcoming new members.
Nightingales Women’s Circle
Meets one Thursday morning every month in homes for fellowship and great desserts!
For adults, men and women ~ a time to meet other parents and share in conversation on topics of life and faith. Oasis is held on Wednesday evenings from 7-7:30 following the Rainbow schedule.
A gathering of retirees who meet one Monday a month for lunch in the church library to share the joys and challenges of retirement.
