Music
Music is an important element of worship at Burke Presbyterian Church and draws many members and guests to our services.
Music is a gift given by God to inspire, refresh, and renew in the worship of God.
On Sunday morning, the many vocal and instrumental ensembles at BPC lead in worship and provide special music. And, on Saturday evening at CoffeeHouse, different groups and soloists offer folk, bluegrass, gospel, or contemporary music before, after, and during the service each week.
Participating in music making nourishes the body, mind, and spirit! It gives people a sense of belonging, relieves stress, and boosts the immune system. Music teaches biblical stories and helps people to express their faith. In worship, music provides a way to connect with and serve God.
Consider participating in a choir or instrumental ensemble this year! New members are always welcome.
