Our congregation is participating in an interreligious effort to build understanding and unity across faiths, part of the Interreligious Communities Project Northern Virginia/Washington DC with Sharing Sacred Spaces and local host Rumi Forum.
We are all invited, along with our six partner faith communities, to a site visit with The Firefly House. This Wiccan community will welcome us at the McLaren-Sargent Pavilion at Lake Accotink Park with tea, snacks, and warm hospitality. We’ll learn the story and heart of their religion and its practices, witness a ritual, hear from members about their spiritual journey, walk the space, and join in an engaging dialogue.
