One Great Hour of Sharing

One Great Hour of Sharing

This Sunday, March 26, Palm Sunday, April 2, and Easter Sunday, April 9, we will receive the One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) offering.

Around the world, millions of people lack access to sustainable food sources, clean water, sanitation, education and opportunity. Three programs supported by OGHS — Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the Presbyterian Hunger Program, and Self-Development of the People — all work in different ways to serve individuals and communities in need. From initial disaster response to ongoing community development, their work fits together to provide people with safety, sustenance, and hope.

Each gift to OGHS helps improve the lives of people in these challenging situations. The Offering provides us a way to share God’s love with our neighbors in need. In fact, OGHS is the single largest way that Presbyterians come together every year to work for a better world.

To learn more about how your gift to OGHS makes a difference, visit pcusa.org/OGHS.

You can contribute online and by check made payable to BPC, noting “OGHS” in the memo line. We will collect this offering through Easter Sunday, April 9.

Looking for a fun, family-friendly way to contribute? Pick up a fish bank in the Gathering Space. Whether you color it with markers or crayons or leave it unadorned, it’ll be ready to receive donations for OGHS. Children are invited to bring their fish banks to worship on Palm Sunday or on Easter Sunday.

If we all do a little, it adds up to a lot!
