Job Openings: Childcare Staff Positions

Burke Presbyterian Church offers child care — for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers — on Sunday mornings, during worship services and Sunday School, from 8:45am to 12:30pm. We could use more hands and hearts to support this ministry, either on a regular or rotating basis. We also offer child care for younger children of Rainbow leaders on Wednesday evenings and could use some additional help there as well. Worship Festival

During Worship Festival, a much-loved tradition at BPC, the proclamation of God’s Word is through music offered by our BPC choirs and musicians. This year, Worship Festival was held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at both the 9:00am and 11:15am services. The following choirs participated: Rainbow Promise and Rainbow Connection Children’s Choirs (at the 11:15am service only), the Chancel Choir, Daybreak Women’s Choir, and IMPACT Youth Choir. 

July 2024 Mission Trip to Kibwezi, Kenya

Interested in traveling to Kibwezi, Kenya, with a group of 18-20 adults, college students, and older youth? Burke Presbyterian and Clifton Presbyterian Churches are planning a trip in July 2024, for two to three weeks, with lodging at Kambua Guest House. The goal of the trip is to strengthen our partnership with Bethel Church, to work on projects in/around Kibwezi, and to learn, give, and receive in the context of Christian fellowship.
