Father’s Day Offering for Ukraine
We are collecting funds for medical supplies for Ukrainians defending their country from invasion. For four years, Russian bombs have targeted Ukrainian hospitals, power stations, and supermarkets; forcing regular Ukrainians to join the armed forces to protect their families. Today, we seek to lessen that burden and honor fathers throughout the world by providing funds for life-saving medical equipment that will help Ukrainians come home safely. Tumaini Orphan Care Fundraiser
This post was written by Susan Kipp. Burke Presbyterian Church and Clifton Presbyterian Church have supported the Tumaini Orphan Care Program (TOCP) in Kibwezi, Kenya, since 2004. Hypothermia Shelter
About Hypothermia From the Sunday after Thanksgiving to April 1st, FACETS works closely with more than 50 faith communities to create pop-up shelters during the coldest months of the year for our most vulnerable neighbors. Our Hypothermia Prevention and Response team ensures that anyone who needs it has a safe, warm place to sleep for the night.
